The Way to Wealth
The Way to Wealth is a VERY short, rewarding read.
Benjamin Franklin describes himself walking through the market during “troubled” times. As a crowd begins to stir, a man stands before them and preaches the great teachings of Poor Richards Almanac, another Franklin publishing. The man speaks of valuing ones time, money, and work ethic. For instance, “Plow deep, while sluggards sleep, and you shall have corn to sell and to keep.”
I don’t want to spoil it, so I’ll just list the reasons why I enjoyed the book:
- Plenty of great quotes
- Relatable to all readers
- Good ending
- Can be read in one sitting
I certainly recommend it for anyone who can spare 30 minutes…“I resolved to be the better for the echo of it.”
If you want to pick it up you can buy it here.
I hope you enjoy it!
